What Are WWE Premium Live Events?
WWE premium live events – still widely called WWE PPVs – are WWE's biggest shows of the year. They're where storylines from Raw, SmackDown and NXT pay off, titles change hands and careers are defined.
The WWE 'Big Four'
- Royal Rumble (January/February) – the 30-person Rumble matches decide who headlines WrestleMania.
- WrestleMania (spring) – WWE's biggest event of the year, held over two nights.
- SummerSlam (summer) – the second-biggest event on the calendar.
- Survivor Series (November) – known for team elimination and WarGames matches.
Other events through the year include Elimination Chamber, Backlash, Money in the Bank and more, plus NXT's own premium live events.
How to Watch WWE PPV Events Online
In the US, WWE premium live events stream on ESPN's direct-to-consumer streaming service, following WWE's move away from Peacock in 2025. Outside the US, WWE PPV events stream on Netflix in most markets as part of its WWE deal.
